Welcome to Begin Again Yoga.

My name is Bethany, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I first started Begin Again Yoga back in 2019 to guide others through traditional yoga and Vinyasa-style movement after of years major self-discovery. The original idea was that every time we practice yoga, we have the opportunity to Begin Again. I felt and still feel this in my core. My own journey has evolved and so has my approach to teaching. Now it’s my mission to make people feel better in their bodies. My focus is to teach those with stress, anxiety, and physical discomfort to find more ease in everyday living through slow, mindful movement and other useful tools. To me, yoga is about Beginning Again, exploring who you are right now, and who you might be becoming.

Different bodies require different movement.

That’s why all of my classes are either in small group settings or 1:1, which make for an intimate and approachable experience. I offer a variety of movements, breath awareness practices, and mindfulness catered to specific groups and individuals that help reduce stress and anxiety and move through physical discomfort. All of my teachings and practices are based in Hatha and SomaYoga, with a blend of Ayurvedic principles and intuition-based teaching.

  • Driving home I noticed I was sitting more straight than normal. I usually feel like I’m sitting crooked because one hip must be higher than the other! Ha! Yay!

But as we worked through our movements, the pain gradually dissipated, and by the end of the class, I felt so good! In fact, I didn't need to take pain meds again for 7 hours, which is a long time for me, most days.
